Discover the techniques of watercolour monotype and drypoint printing in this one-day creative adult workshop led by artist and printmaker Amy-Jane Blackhall.
In the first half of the session you will learn how to prepare plates for watercolour monotype printing and create painterly, colourful backgrounds. In the afternoon you will produce a drypoint plate to be printed on your background.
Your tutor for the session is Amy-Jane Blackhall who trained under Master Printer Jack Shirreff. Blackhall founded the INK ON PAPER PRESS in Wiltshire in 2015, where she works on editions for renowned artists such as Emma Stibbon RA and Ann Christopher RA.
