About

150 Years of Radstock Co-operative Society; The Co-op was set up in 1868 by the coal mining community and was initially run by volunteers, by 1877 this purpose built premises pictured here and still in existence on Wells Road in Radstock, was built. The Co-op remained here for 82 years transferring to the Radco Superstore in 1959, still thriving in the centre of Radstock today.
