Trefeddian Hotel

About

The Trefeddian Hotel stands in a commanding position overlooking Cardigan Bay, one mile west of Aberdovey, a village with many attractions and fast becoming a centre for many outdoor activities.

The Cave-Brown-Cave family own and run this first class family hotel, celebrating 110 years in 2014. They are constantly making improvements, with a major refurbishment of the swimming pool with a new Spa bath, beauty salon and terrace affording delightful views of the coast.

The lounges are spacious, light and peaceful and offer plenty of space to relax and the bedrooms are comfortable and elegantly decorated, most with views of Cardigan Bay.

The five-course dinner menu changes daily and offers a good choice of well-presented traditional English-French cuisine, using an abundance of local produce and complemented by a well-chosen wine list, with a good range of half bottles.

The Trefeddian faces a four-mile stretch of sandy beach and is ideally located for beach strolls, playing golf, walking in the hills or rambling by lakes, rivers and waterfalls. The courtesy and efficiency of the staff create a welcoming atmosphere that sees many guests returning year after year.

Open all year except Christmas.
