The Moorings Hotel

About

The Moorings Hotel and Restaurant enjoys a true Jersey "picture postcard" location. The Moorings is situated below the historic ramparts of Mont Orgueil Castle, on the waterfront of Gorey Harbour.

The Moorings has a new husband and wife team at the "helm". Joanne takes control of all front of house activities, with the kitchen in the hands of her husband/chef Simon Walker. You could not wish for a better team to run this lovely hotel where such friendly hospitality is extended. Rooms are very well presented and have all facilities expected for the comfort of today's travellers. Many enjoy stunning sea views towards Grouville Bay across the harbour.

The Moorings Restaurant AA 2 Rosettes is one of the island's finest. Simon truly excels in the kitchen! Both the table d'hote and a la carte menus offer a wonderful selection of island produce with an accent on local seafood. Presentation, menu choices and service are all exemplary - this restaurant justly deserves its long standing highly regarded reputation.

The Pier Bar and Bistro offers a more casual dining experience overlooking Gorey Harbour, where you can savour local fish specialities. The al fresco terrace is the place to absorb the warmth of this delightful hotel and soak up the rays of an amazing sunset. This is a great location and The Moorings must be enjoyed on any visit to the beautiful island of Jersey. Highly recommended in all respects.

The Moorings is open all year.
