The New Lanark Mill Hotel was originally an 18th century cotton mill. After years
of painstaking restoration work by New Lanark Trust, the hotel opened for business and pleasure in May 1998, and has quickly developed into a popular choice for a short break destination. Located in the heart of New Lanark World Heritage Site this restored 18th century cotton mill village is nestled in the spectacular south Lanarkshire valley in southern Scotland, close to the Falls of Clyde and less than an hour from Edinburgh and Glasgow.

All thirty-eight of our bedrooms enjoy spectacular views across the River Clyde or surrounding conservation area. As a guest of the hotel you’ll enjoy complimentary use of our extensive facilities, which include a heated indoor swimming pool. Guests can indulge in a pampering treatment at the hotel’s full-service spa.

New Lanark Mill restaurant is an oasis of comfort, overlooking the River Clyde, it has a modern and contemporary feel, service is friendly yet efficient. When it comes to food it’s all about simple delicious dishes with the main focus on using quality ingredients the menu combines a selection of our popular favourites to our la carte selection, the grill section of our menu serves up top quality Scotch beef, use only the finest of local produce with an authentic Scottish taste.
