About

The world-renowned wildlife photography exhibition from the Natural History Museum is back with 100 new images.

Now in its 55th year, Wildlife Photographer of the Year showcases the most arresting and spectacular images of our natural world.

Experience the changing face of nature and uncover the surprising, and sometimes challenging, stories behind the photographs. Whether young, old, professional or amateur, the photographers raise awareness of the beauty and fragility of the world around us.

Wildlife Photographer of the Year is the most prestigious photography event of its kind, providing a global platform that showcases the world’s most astonishing sights for more than 50 years.

Launching in 1965 and attracting 361 entries, today the competition receives 48,000 entries from 100 countries. Winning images are selected for their creativity, originality and technical excellence.

Wildlife Photographer of the Year is developed and produced by the Natural History Museum, London.

M Shed would like to thank the Bristol exhibition sponsors Bristol EnergyNational Friendly and Pukka.
