About

This February half term get into the Valentine's spirit with Calligraphy Crafts at The Mary Rose. Learn how to write like a Tudor, and make a Valentine's card or Tudor-inspired love letter using your new calligraphy skills.

Find out who aboard the Mary Rose would have been able to read and write, and what fascinating artefacts were found aboard the ship - such as tiny fragments of quills and even a Tudor ink pot!

Calligraphy crafts is a free family activity with a valid Mary Rose Museum ticket.

The event runs throughout half-term: 12pm to 2pm Saturdays and Sundays, and 11am to 3pm Monday to Friday.
