Traditional barn dancing

About

What could be better than a proper traditional Barn Dance in a real barn? And a spectacular heritage barn at that!

Fabulous Gloucestershire band Sargent's Mess provide the rousing folk tunes, and caller Rob tells you all the steps as you go along. No experience necessary. Suitable for all ages. Chaos and fun guaranteed! Doors and bar will open at 6pm and you are welcome to bring your own picnic to enjoy in the grounds from 6pm.

The band will play from 7pm. Dancing 7.30pm - 8.30pm and 9 - 10pm. The bar is open until 9.45pm so you can flop down with a drink if you get too hot! So come along with your friends and family, and enjoy a sociable midsummer evening down at the Barn with traditional folk music and lots of fun. Dancing is not compulsory - if you are unable to get up and dance it's fine to just listen to the excellent band and watch the action. The Barn is fully accessible for wheelchairs.
