Renishaw Hall Vineyard Tour and Tastings

About

The historic vineyard at Renishaw Hall on the Derbyshire / Yorkshire borders opens its gates in May for another year of tours and tastings – offering a selection of dates for visitors to explore this fascinating, 47 year-old site on the beautiful Renishaw Estate.

Led by award-winning wine maker, Kieron Atkinson, visitors learn the intriguing history of Renishaw’s vineyard - once the most northerly in the world and still today one of the most northerly sites ever to win international awards for the wine produced there.

The vineyard tours last approximately 1.5 hours and cost £10 per person, including wine tasting, a tour of the vineyard and learning about the wine-making process.

“Our grapes are hand-picked, the wines are hand-made, and each bottle of Renishaw Hall wine represents this special place, its surroundings and environment” says Kieron Atkinson.

Renishaw Hall public vineyard tours for 2019 will take place at noon and 2pm on the following Sundays throughout the year: 19th May, 9th June, 30th June, 21st July, 15th & 29th September

Pre-booked group tours (min 12 people) are also available throughout the week from May to Sept.

Advance booking for all tours is required, and tours sell out fast. Contact kieron@englishwineproject.co.uk to book your place on a tour. Find out more at www.englishwineproject.co.uk
