June Plant Hunters' Fair at Abbeywood Gardens

Come along to Abbeywood Gardens for a great June Plant Hunters' Fair. This event offers a special half price entry to the gardens and plant fair of only £3.00. This plant fair is a great place to find some lovely plants for your garden. The plants are lovingly grown by small specialist nurseries and these enthusiastic plants people are on hand to give honest, straightforward advice on choosing and growing the right plants for your garden. For true 'plantaholics' there are always those little treasures to discover that can't be obtained elsewhere.

The gardens have plenty to see and enjoy with 6 acres divided into separate garden areas, each with its own distinctive character and themed planting. The long, flowering, naturalistically planted herbaceous borders of the main garden are divided by impressive yew hedges into the pool, chapel and pergola gardens. The exciting and vibrantly planted Christopher Lloyd inspired Exotic Garden is filled with Dahlias, Bananas, tender perennials and annuals. A fabulous prairie garden. All set against a glorious backdrop of the Utkinton Hills. You can also enjoy a walk around the rest of the estates 40-acre arboretum. The vegetable garden grows soft fruit, seasonal root crop and salad all of which are served as part of a delicious seasonal menu in the Garden Café. The plant fair runs from 10am-4pm on Sunday 14th June. Dogs on leads welcome. For details of nurseries attending please see
