Portsdown Hill has a unique place in military history as well as it's display of natural wonders. The Palmerston Forts play a huge part in this history, and therefore Fort Widley has a great many stories to tell.
See how Fort Widley has been used over the last 150 years and how the Peter Ashley Activity Centres Trust is striving to conserve the heritage for future generations and develop this much loved asset for the community. This guided, one-hour underground tour lets you see all this up close.
Tours take place from 1pm to 2pm, 9 to 12 September.
Pre-booking is required. Tour must be pre-booked via Eventbrite. Please note there is no access to any other part of the site outside of the tour.
