Join Peter Ashley Activity Centres for a two-tunnel taster tour at Fort Purbrook. Go along to experience the amazing rich heritage of the tunnels that lie beneath this Victorian Fort.
Portsdown Hill has a unique place in military history as well as it's display of natural flora and fauna. The Forts play a huge part in this history and this event will tell the story behind Fort Purbrook.
See how the Fort has been used over the last 150 years and how the Peter Ashley Activity Centres Trust is striving to conserve the heritage for future generations and develop this much loved asset for the community. At this event you will take a guided tour through some of the fort's many fascinating tunnels.
Tours take place daily from 9 to 12 September, 10am to 11am.
Pre-booking is required. Tour must be pre-booked via Eventbrite. Please note there is no access to any other part of the site outside of the tour.
