About

The studio is open everyday during the school holidays. This February half term, pop along to the studio to paint pottery or take part in one of the all day classes. These classes are suitable for ages 7+. 

Potters Clay Day

This one is for all you Potter fans. Learn how to make your own room plaque out of clay using a sorting hat cookie cutter and make and attach your own house shield. In the afternoon paint your favourite character onto a ceramic egg pot and have a go on the pottery wheel. The items will be ready to collect two weeks after the class. The clay plaque can be painted at home with acrylic paints or can be brought back to the studio and painted with glazes for £5.

Cat Lovers Day

Enjoy using clay to make this cat themed bird feeder, fill the mouth and tongue with seeds and hang from a tree using the hooped tail. In the afternoon learn how to paint this cat themed ceramic plate (or you can change the design for your favourite animal) and have a go on the pottery wheel. The pieces will be ready for collection two weeks after class. Please note that the bird feedeer will be returned fired but unpainted and can either be painted at home or brought back in to be painted in the studio for £5.

Dragon Book and Ceramics Day

Enjoy spending the morning turning a plain A4 note book into this magical dragon covered book. Using 3D sculpting and acrylic paints. In the afternoon learn how to paint a ceramic dragon using crackle glazes to get fun scaly effects. The notebook can be taken home on the day and the ceramic piece will be ready to collect one week later. 

Unicorn String Art and Ceramics Day

Enjoy learning how to make this really fun unicorn string art canvas to hang on your wall. Use acrylics, a hammer, nails and string, to weave this unicorn design. In the afternoon learn how to paint a unicorn mug or ornament using bright colours and glitter glazes. The string art canvas can be taken home on the day and ceramic piece will be ready one week later. 

Animal Clay Day

Enjoy making an animal in a cave using clay. Design your anima and learn how to sculpt it and make a cave pinched pot. In the afternoon paint your own crazy animal plate using bright glazes and silk screen stencils and have a go on the pottery wheel. The items will be fired but not painted, it can be painted at home using acrylics or in the studio for £5.
