About

The D-Day Story has embarked on a new partnership with the Royal School of Needlework (RSN) - whose tutors will lead a series of hand embroidery classes at the museum.

The classes have been specially designed for The D-Day Story and are inspired by the Overlord Embroidery, which the RSN made from 1968 to 1974. The RSN was founded in 1872 and is the international centre of excellence for the art of hand embroidery.

The courses are suitable for all abilities from beginners to more advanced stitchers.

Book at www.royal-needlework.org.uk/courses/ day-classes/ from mid-January 2019.

Guide Prices

£84 per class including admission to the museum.
£25 kit cost payable in cash on the day.
