Caleb Parkin, Bristol Poet Laureate at Red Lodge

About

Bristol 04 Arts are delighted to host an evening with Bristol City Poet Caleb Parkin on June 24.

Caleb's highly praised debut collection, "This Fruiting Body" was published last year. Embracing our kinship with other creatures, his exhilarating poetry links hermit crabs, octopus raves, the "dreams of ants" alongside "deep fried skyscrapers'. Titles such as "If the Earth is My Mother"; and "Somewhere to Keep the Rain"only partly reveal the scope of his imagination. And

"Unknown Distance, Moderate Difficulty" will resonate with all local coastal walkers.
