Grade 1 listed building. Fine example of a small Carolinian Manor House (1676). Family portraits from 1624 to date. Family seat for over 900 years. Lime avenue and landscaped gardens with early Victorian summer house and late Elizabethan stable block.

Open from 1 May to 31 August, 2pm to 4.30pm, with tours at 2.15pm, 3pm and 3.45pm.

Take A53 from Newcastle-under-Lyme towards Market Drayton. Hall is 3 miles from M6 junction 15.

Opening Times

* Whitmore Hall and Gardens will not currently be opening this season in the usual months from the beginning of April to the end of August (Tuesdays and Wednesday afternoons). The decision has been taken to eliminate any risk to our customers, staff and the family who reside at the Hall.
