Kentwell Hall is a secluded and romantic estate set in Suffolk parkland with over 500 years of fascinating and unexpected stories.
The most beautiful of moated Tudor houses surrouned by stunning gardens and wonderful grounds and woodlands. More, how in 1971 a young man rescued this neglected gem to make it his life's project.
As you explore, you will see the exterior remains very much as the Tudor builders left it, but as you meander through the interior, you will see it now presents an exciting mix of periods with rare and fabulous pieces from fine paintings to period furniture.
Kentwell Hall represents Patrick and Judith’s ongoing and ever-changing lifetime journey. It is the story of their family and home, created from the restoration of an empty, near derelict and unloved shell to a treasured, unique and much-visited home for visitors to explore, learn and enjoy.
Kentwell offers a full calendar of events from costumed weekend Re-creations of everyday past life, to family and children events including their week long Magic Festival.
Kentwell is for you to enjoy at your leisure.
Full details of admission prices for house, garden and event days can be seen at www.kentwell.co.uk. Group and Tour discounts are available.
