Once the largest private house in England and subsequently the palace of James I and prison of Charles I, Holdenby has as special atmosphere all of its own.

It's suite of elegant state rooms overlooking the Grade I listed gardens and rolling countryside make it a magnificent venue for corporate events, dinners and meetings, as well as an idea location for filming. Couples continue to choose Holdenby as an enchanting venue for weddings creating a truly memorable day.

With the falconry centre based at Holdenby visitors can arrange to visit the centre and arrange for displays of the impressive birds.

Guided House & Garden Tours by arrangement.

Parking limited for coaches.

Education/School Visits: 6 times Sandford Award Winner.

Suitable for dogs on leads.

Tea Room open alongside garden opening hours. Light lunches, hot/cold drinks, cake, afternoon tea by appointment.
