The Sanctuary will be re-opening to the public at Easter, but we will have more restricted open days than we have had in the past.

New and innovative visitor centre at a working wildlife care and rescue centre. Unique in the North East, The Sanctuary Wildlife Care Centre offers visitors of all ages and abilities the opportunity to see most species of British wildlife including foxes, badgers, deer, owls and hedgehogs. Viewing from purpose built wildlife hide. Car park, gift shop, children's play area. Activities for children, tearoom and pony rides.

We will be out and about fundraising over the coming year so please check out our Events Page to find out where we will be and come along and say hello.

We are also still hosting education group visits and children's parties.

We are still urgently in need of your help by way of adoptions or donations to feed our animals
