About

Stanford Hall was built in the 1690s and displays all the grand decor of its time. The Ballroom, grandly resplendent in pink and gold has a fine ceiling with four trompe l'oeil shell corners. There is also a fine collection of portraits from the Tudor and Stuart periods, and a display of family costumes from that time.

The grounds include a Walled Rose Garden, Nature Trail and a replica 1898 Flying machine.
