Rutland Trails: Walking Holidays & Guided Walks

Book Tickets Online

Providing guided walking holidays in Rutland and surrounding areas for single people, couples and groups, as well as hosting corporate team building events.

Rutland Trails offers a scheduled group walk once a month, see website for details, or can create a bespoke walk to suit your own particular needs, in terms of timings, location and terrain.

Ian accompanies every walk and will be your support crew, your font of local knowledge and your entertainment.

He’s also the logistics man, ensuring your baggage and any other equipment make their way safely along the route.

Rutland Trails was founded by Ian Strange, a fifty-something with bags of energy and enthusiasm for walking and people. This combination, together with his warm character and continual desire – "to ensure everyone has a good time" – will make this walking holiday an experience you will treasure and hopefully want to do again.
