Gardens of approximately 10 acres surrounding Raveningham Hall, home to Sir Nicholas and Lady Bacon. Including large herbaceous borders, a Victorian walled kitchen garden with glasshouse, herb garden, a Time Garden inspired by Sir Francis Bacon's essay, an arboretum with newly created stumpery, lake established to mark the Millennium. All in a glorious parkland setting with sculptures by Susan Bacon in and around the gardens.


Road Directions

By Road: Take the A146 from Norwich and then the B1136 to Raveningham. By Public Transport: Buses run from Lemans Grove, Loddon and stop opposite the gardens on Beccles Road. For public transport timetables and information call 0871 200 2233 or visit The nearest railway station is Norwich.
