About

Home to the Earls of Fauconberg and the Wombwell family the house was built in 1145 and contains the tomb of Oliver Cromwell together with the family collection of art and furniture. The beautiful grounds contain a lake, water garden, walled garden, amazing topiary yews and woodland walks set against the backdrop of the White Horse.
