About

If you wish to wander peacefully through 20 acres of wild woodland gardens, where magnolias, rhododendrons, eucryphias, hydrangeas, water plants and water lilies, provide a new vista at each turn, with ducks on small lakes and cascades, then you will be welcome at Minterne, the home of the Churchill and Digby families for 350 years. The setting of Great Hintock House in Thomas Hardy's novel, 'The Woodlanders'.

Allow at least an hour and a half for your visit.
