• The newly-refurbished Victorian Prison, previously closed to the public for decades

A group discount is available, including a free ticket for the group leader and coach driver.

Also, exclusive guided tours of the inner bailey can be arranged. Alternatively, groups can join any of our regular guided tours, which run at set times throughout the day.

* Our opening times are:

April to September 10am – 5pm (grounds close 5.30pm)

October to March 10am – 4pm (grounds close 4.30pm)

We are open every day of the year except Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Please note the following dates when restricted access will apply to the lawned areas within the grounds due to special events:
