Award-winning Leighton Hall is the lived-in house of the famous furniture-making Gillow dynasty. Unravel the fascinating past of this ancient, Lancashire family, wander through the spectacular grounds and pretty gardens.
Leighton also has a caterpillar maze, plant conservatory and charming tea rooms. Children can run wild in the play area or explore a woodland trail and are encouraged to get involved. There are no roped off areas. Leighton is very much a lived in house, brought to life by the enthusiasm of the guides.
Leighton Hall can be found nestling in a bowl of parkland in the north of Lancashire, a few miles from the city of Lancaster. Open from May to September to the public. Pre-booked groups are welcome all year round and parking is free.

Regrettably the halls first floor is inaccessible for wheelchair users.
