Goodwood House is open to the public on at least sixty days a year. The art collection includes a magnificent group of British paintings from the Seventeenth and Eighteenth Centuries, such as the celebrated views of London by Canaletto and superb sporting scenes by George Stubbs. The rooms are filled with fine English and French furniture, Gobelins tapestries and Sèvres Porcelain.
Special works of art are regularly rotated and displayed and the books can be viewed by written application to the Curator (there is a special charge for these viewings).

Road Directions

Goodwood is 3.5 miles NE of Chichester. Regular train services operate from Victoria to Chichester. Taxi rank at railway station. Well sign posted from all directions.

Closed for some special events and for the Members Meeting, Festival of Speed and Revival Meetings. Please ring the Customer Sales Team on 01243 755055 to check opening times and to book your Tour or Afternoon tea tickets. Please note Afternoon Tea must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. Special morning tours available on some Sunday and Monday mornings for groups 20+ if booked far in advance (depending on availability.)
