Charles II and George IV both stayed here. It dates back to the 11th century, was enlarged in 1670 and now enjoys magnificent painted and gilded state rooms. The house and its parkland is perfect for seminars, exhibitions, weddings and private parties, as well as filming and photo shoots. The conservatories and the orangery make a delightful location for summer functions, whilst log fires offer a welcome during winter. All bookings at Avington are individually tailor made and only exclusive use is offered. Five rooms are licensed for civil wedding ceremonies.
