Biggin Hall Hotel

Biggin Hall is an historic old hall of 17th century origin, situated 1000 ft above sea level in the Peak District National Park. The Hall is Grade II* listed and stands in its own grounds of some eight acres. There are eight bedrooms in the main house and a further thirteen in converted buildings in the grounds: the lodge, the bothy and the courtyard. Dinner is a daily changing menu of traditional home cooking with the emphasis on local ingredients and free range wholefoods. Guests are made to feel at home in this exceptionally welcoming, comfortable house. Hosts James Moffett and Steven Williams will be able to recommend walking itineraries and traffic-free cycle trails. There are several historic houses nearby: Haddon Hall, Chatsworth and Kedleston Hall. Also close by are important archeological sites including Arkwrights Mill, Cromford Canal, Ecton Hill lead and copper mines and Magpie lead mine - Britain's deepest . Packed lunches can be arranged and there is even stabling if you wish to bring your horse or pony.

Pets welcome in the bothy/annex only.

Sorry no children under 12. Biggin Hall is open all year.
