4 Canon Lane offers calm and respite from the clamour of everyday life in a perfectly situated location on a quiet lane in the Cathedral grounds. This former archdeaconry is a beautifully restored 8 bedroom house situated in the historic precincts of Chichester Cathedral.

A stay at the guest house offers the convenience of a city centre location. Chichester Cathedral is a living, working place of worship which has been at the centre of life in Chichester for nearly 1000 years. The house offers the perfect setting for away-days, meetings, quiet days and residential weekends.

Beautifully decorated en suite bedrooms with stunning views of the garden or Cathedral. There are 4 double or twin rooms, 3 standard double and a ground floor single room with disabled access located on the ground floor.

4 Canon Lane is also available for exclusive hire for wedding receptions and other special occasions, so that you and your guests can enjoy the high quality of both our service and the surroundings in total privacy. The house also caters for private dinners and conferences for up to 40 people.

Close to direct train links to London, Portsmouth and Southampton.

Located at the top of Canon Lane the house is the last house on the left before you go through the archway to the Bishop's Palace.

Canon Lane is accessed through the medieval archway, which is situated halfway up South Street, on the left as you head towards the city centre.
