Unique Collections and Treasures

Among Nostell’s many treasures is the globally renowned dolls’ house, a miniature mansion with exquisitely detailed rooms that reveal the lifestyle of the wealthy in the Georgian period. The house is also home to one of the first long-case clocks made by the famed clockmaker John Harrison, a testament to precision and innovation.

The mansion’s Chippendale furniture collection is world-class, showcasing pieces by the legendary cabinetmaker Thomas Chippendale. From intricately carved chairs to elegant cabinets, each piece highlights craftsmanship and design excellence.

The library houses an extensive collection of rare books and manuscripts, reflecting the intellectual pursuits of the Winn family.
