At ManchesTOUR, we believe in showcasing Manchester's rich historical and cultural heritage through immersive tours led by local experts. Our team of born and bred Mancunians is dedicated to providing you with unforgettable experiences. With a passion for sharing the best of Manchester, we have curated tours that highlight the very best of our beloved city.

ManchesTOUR was set up by Rob - a teacher with a passion for local history. Most of the tours are run by Rob which is why they only happen on a Saturday (for now) - he's busy teaching children the rest of the time!

Rob studied History at Manchester Metropolitan University where he specialised in local history - his dissertation was even published by Chetham's Library. Following that, Rob obtained his PGCE from Manchester University and has been teaching for over a decade.

Rob has lived in Perth, Australia; Auckland, New Zealand and Edinburgh, Scotland but has been pulled back to Manchester every time - it really is that much of an amazing place!
