More details will be released soon.

What to expect this Christmas

While we’re still putting the finishing touches on this year’s programme, you can expect:

  • Stunning festive displays in the house

  • A family-friendly trail in the garden and parkland

  • Delicious seasonal treats in the café

  • Christmas shopping in the National Trust shop

When will tickets be available?

More details - including dates, times and how to book - will be released later this year. Be sure to check back here or follow us on Instagram  or Facebook  for the latest updates.

Accessibility at Saltram

We aim to make Saltram as accessible and welcoming as possible:

  • Parking: Accessible and disabled parking spaces are available.
  • Paths and mobility: Level paths in the garden are suitable for wheelchairs. An all-terrain Tramper is available to book - please email us at saltram@nationaltrust.org.uk to reserve.
  • In the house: The maximum size for a wheelchair that can enter the house is 70cm wide and 1m in depth/length at its widest point. We have a mat in Visitor Welcome and outside of the house for visitors to measure the size of their wheelchair.
Electric wheelchairs of the same size are permitted in the house, as long as they fit between the two white lines on the ramp and its turning circle is within its own axis. Unfortunately mobility scooters are not currently allowed within the house.
For visitors unable to access the remaining spaces, a room guide will accompany them to the staircase hall, where a video tour of the final spaces is available to ensure everyone can enjoy the experience.
Please note that visitors with pushchairs are asked to leave them outside of the house in the pushchair parking tent.
  • Hearing support: Audio induction loops are installed in the café and Welcome Centre for visitors with hearing aids.
  • Toilets and baby changing: Adapted toilets with baby-changing facilities are located in the Stables. An additional disabled toilet is available at the Park Café.
