Located in the scenic village of Fulbeck near Grantham, Fulbeck Manor is a Grade II* listed 17th-century country house. Built around 1580, the manor is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, featuring Georgian and Victorian alterations and additions. This charming estate offers a unique glimpse into English country life through its architecture and history.
The manor is renowned for its impressive collection of Fane family portraits, spanning over 400 years. These artworks adorn the walls, providing visitors with a visual journey through the family’s storied past. The house itself, possibly a barn conversion, retains much of its original character, offering a rare opportunity to explore a home that has been in the same family for centuries.
Access to Fulbeck Manor is by written appointment only, ensuring an intimate and personalized experience. Guided tours, led by the owner, typically last about 90 minutes, allowing guests to delve deep into the history and heritage of the estate.
