Join us for this full day in the field, the day will be focussed around the Lymington/Keyhaven Marshes but we might opt to start or finish the day at a communal Hawfinch roost in the New Forest.
This small group size trip will take a relaxed pace looking at and discussing all aspects of the bird life of the coast. A typical day during the autumn/winter period should produce a total of 80-100 species. If the conditions are suitable we will add the option of joining us for a roost count looking for Hawfinch and other classic New Forest woodland species.
We will be in the field for 6-8 hours stopping for regular breaks and lunch (please bring your own supplies). The area is great waders, wildfowl and raptors, we will take our time looking at ID features and discussing behaviour and movements of each species.
Full joining details will be sent a few days ahead of the trip.
£50pp Duration: 8 Hours
