Inside of the Eastney Beam Engine House

About

Eastney Beam Engine House is an impressive Victorian building containing a pair of classic Boulton Watt beam engines and pumps restored to their original 1887 condition and in steam.

The Beam Engine House is open 10am to 4pm on the last Sunday of each month January to November (except August). Please note, the September Open Day will be a Friday, 12pm to 4.30pm.

The Gas Engine House will also be open on the same dates, including August. Additionally, the Gas Engine House hosts regular openings every Wednesday, 10am to midday.

Admission is free - the last admission is 30 minutes before closing. Access for disabled visitors is limited, so please phone for details.
